SCEA and Luxembourg Business Representatives visit to UBI

On 13 June 2018, UBI Logistics welcomed the Secretary-General of Shanghai Cross-Border E-Commerce Association (SCEA), the Consul General of Luxembourg in Shanghai, the Director of Logistics of Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy, and officials from the Luxembourg Trade and Investment Promotion Office. Both parties discussed in-depth on the strengthening of business cooperation and exploring the use of Luxembourg's geographical advantages to facilitate the development of cross-border e-commerce market in Europe.

Daniel, Director of Logistics of the Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy, said that the Luxembourg government has been actively involved in promoting the development of cross-border e-commerce business, coordinating Luxembourg's aviation resources and Luxembourg's customs, and has provided tailor-made solutions for many cross-border e-commerce platforms, sellers and logistics companies. They have achieved remarkable results, and they hope that UBI Logistics can actively participate in the initiative.

The Secretary-General of SCEA also raised the concerns of Cainiao regarding the relative competitive advantage of transshipment hub in Liege, Belgium compared to Luxembourg, and Daniel had also provided a detailed answer to address the concerns.

The SCEA take the opportunity to express that it will continue to support its core enterprise members in expanding abroad and better explore the overseas markets. UBI will also live up to its expectations and continue to provide “Safer, Faster, Better, Cheaper” quality logistics solutions and unparalleled international logistics service to e-commerce sellers.
